If you would like to be a member of BGPERT, we need your CONSENT to hold your personal data:
Under new EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) that comes into force 25th May 2018, we need your consent to hold the personal information you provide on this membership form. We will not use your data any differently than before. Under our data protection policy your personal data is held on our secure database, and used by BGPERT in accordance with current data protection legislation.
We will only use the personal data you provide to allow provision of our charity’s CPD activities, including (but not limited to) taking membership payments, contacting you re upcoming courses, and requesting feedback for each event. Wherever possible, we anonymise your data to protect you.
We only share your data with trusted third parties immediately affiliated to BGPERT that are required to maintain the activities of the charity.
You have the right to review, amend or have your data deleted at any time and can do so by emailing us at firstname.lastname@example.org or calling 01225 336363. If you lodge a complaint with us about the handling of your data, and you remain dissatisfied with our response, you have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
To confirm consent, please return your membership form to us. This will confirm your CONSENT, allowing us to hold your personal data provided by you therein.
